Hi All,

Can some member take a look at attached dump. Ews 2 White box purple plug.
Read 0d47j and made key but car doesn't crank. Wrote key in number 6.

What did you read it with?

So you wrote a new key in to the dump or produced one from the dump?

Read it with AK90 and wrote key into dump
Can I get another box also with purple plug and make key. Does it need sync or not.

The key number 6 is not activ in this dump. What pcf you use to wrait into the dump? The new box you must sync whiw car.

I use miraclone modul 18. Write into pcf7935 and pcf7930.

You have two option:
1. Sync dme-ews to start the cars.
or
2. Read flash dme & post here. I will help to start the cars.

Do you need to initialize the keys with the Miraclone same as when coding from the AK90? or does it code the key like the Zedbull?

Turn the key to on and leave for 20 seconds, turn the key off and try start the key then.

Car still not starting.
Must ews be sync with dme now to start or what.
Attached is dump with key programmed in position 6.

This is the first time I'm doing this. Can you give me some info on how to sync ews with dme.
Customer will drop dme off this morning.

sounds like job gone bad. I always write to existing key position (just don't overwrite a non-lost key!).

I've heard with 47j that you need to remove it from board but that's not your issue.

have you got anything to sync - sure somebody can help.

I'm not 100% because I haven't had to do it so someone else might come and correct me here.

On a Siemens DME I have I think that the ISN is stored in the 93C86.

Have a look at your DME and see what EEPROM's you have. If you can post the Part number on yours or a photo that should also help.

I don't think Orange can do 29F as I couldn't see it in it's list. Not sure about xprog, you might have to have a look.

To read it probably would have to desolder and solder on to adaprot to read.

This EWS2 pak..... will not show.. pass on ews editor..
dump is ok... and roling key data is ok..

check relay on ews. try jump pin for start motor...

try start car with out relay... your car must start and running.

Review by brain & hex software:
- ews have 10 error.

Impossible to start the cars without correct ISN.

Xprog & orange can not read/write 29xxxx or 28xxxx
Use universal eprom programmer (smartprox8, chipmax2, topmax2, elnec, batronix, hi-lo, willem, etc).

You can diagnostics DME with INPA or Gt1 on bench (without cars).
With INPA read DME page1, page2, page3. Capture these screen and post here.
With GT1 read DME paramater, post here DME software no. & calibartion number.

I can help to start the cars if you still need it.

pe locksmiths, I'm also trying to find programmer to read/write 29fxxx chips. I decided to buy GQ-4X made by Willem because it costs less than $200 with the PSOP44 adapter. Batronix would be my next choice if you do alot of BMW DME.

Any BMW mechanic should have INPA or GT1 software to help you read the DME.
