vw crafter 2008 all key losy

vw crafter 2008 need to code key, I have mechanical key and remote. ive got original avdi, problem cant switch ing on to live ecu so I can extract pin. any idea how to switch ing on or power ecu

you will need to power up the igniion to programme a key with avdi lost keys do it on the bench i havnt seen a conventional way of powering up the dash on these yet

From manual you need disconnect ecu from car and read it on bench. When you dont have working key ezs not let communicate with ecu even you got ignition on.

Open ecu and read eeprom to get pin and cs bytes.

i read if you take can H and can L from ecu and connect diect to obd port should be ok, I will try and report back

took can cables from ecu direct to port didn't work, striped ecu read 95320 obtained cs and pin, prepared dealer and now gonna install ecu back into car and learn key via obd
avdi manul say will take min and then ciycle key, see wht happens

Ofcourse it didn't work,because CAN is a BUS(it requires a full circle).You need to build a circuit with a 2x120 Ohm terminators at the end and then connect ECU and diagnostics,I think you can buy something like that in China...

all went well just put key in ignition and followed prompt after five min cycled key all ok, vehicle starts, had problem coding remote so got some1 else to code it up, thx for all the input

Where did you get the remote from?

yes the remotes are in remote diagnostics select channell 1 and the stored values will show then put 1 in the test value and select test and press remote the remote data will show then save exit the channell and remote will work
