View Full Version : Peugeot partner 1.6hdi ecu no coms

Hi i have a peugeot partner 2007 with bsi reporting no coms with edc16c34 ecu , i swapped it over with another one thinking its ecu but same problem . I also re fitted donor parts in donor partner but same problem there aswell no coms with ecu , I'm puzzled i need help?

Ive checked all wires and fuses and all seem ok

Take out the Ecu get the pin out for it connect 12v and ground and also to the obd cable of your diagnostic tool so both are powered up. Pin out will tell you if it's a k line (1 wire)Ecu or can(2 wires high and low) connect these from the Ecu pin to diagnostic tool obd cable if you don't have comms your Ecu is down.if you have comms your wiring is the issue.
but if u have tried another Ecu it's strange. Surly it's wiring? Its what I would try in this case hope you get it sorted

Hi,
Check Can lines from bsi through abs to engine ecu. Wire 9001D and 9000D. From Bsi those wires(9001F and 9000F) goes to abs/esp block and from there to engine ecu.

Yes, from car characteristic I see, that without abs. Then can line goes from bsi to engine ecu. You cas see it from diagram, what I post. In diagram ABS is a dashed line, so that may not to be.

with out wiring diagram hard to fix.
