On Tuesday I took delivery of the box, managed to get all channels in.
Now the problem.
Sly sports 1, 2 and 3.
Picture breaking up, and the dreaded no or bad signal.
Bought a signal booster. No difference.
Tried a variable attenuator. No difference
Tried the built in signal deviation, up and down the scale.
Does help a little, but still unwatchable.
The problem seems to lie with the higher frequencies.
On the sports channels, the signal strength is 77. but the signal quality is jumping all over.
I have used both lots of firmware, makes no difference.
Anybody any ideas.

is it only on the sports channels...

Try putting the box on standby for about 1hour see if that helps it at all m8

If that dont work try and scan on a diff rate....try t/w then all transponders....

Hi Gary
No it's not only the sports channels.
It's affecting quite a few channels. Mainly those in the higher frequency range. But I am not interested in them.
Only the sports channels. Setanta works fine. sky sports extra works fine. just 1,2 & 3
Can't understand why the quality strap is up and down.

Yes I have tried that one.
I looks like a signal problem, That probably can only be fixed by the supplier.

Have you got the cable connected to the feed in and not the out loop?

I'm not underestimateing your IQ but many have had it in the wrong one. If it is in the right one try the other, out for the feed.

DW its a screw in connector on box anway so it will only go in 2 places the input or output both work m8 lol

not like euro with the adaptor on ya feed :D

No it was in the right one, in fact tried both.
What I have done is to delete the channels, then leave on standby to automatically up date. Tuned into Sky sports late last night and the were working perfectly.
Tried again this morning, and it's back to breaking up.

I know its a screw conector, I've bought about 50 since they came out and have had folk complaining of channels breaking up only to find the're using the loop out instead of the feed. However, if the signal is to strong using the out can correct the problem.

First I would try the box on someone elses feed if possible, if its ok them that eliminates the box. If its to weak or to strong signal then its either an attenuator, a booster or return to the supplier for a replacement.

That will have to be my next move, Try it on another feed.
If I still get the same problem, it's got to be a bad box.

Just checked all frequencies.
Problem starts at TP 578.75.
Every TP up from there is breaking up.
Every TP below is working perfectly.
I'm lost.
