BMW EWS3 Sync

Trying to get a M57 3 litre diesel to run in a older body car. Car is E39 1998.
Can anyone help me sync EWS and ECU. ECU is DDE4.0 (edc15)Attatched readout from EWS and eeprom.
Key data in EWS are OK.

Tried sync with Abrites and GT1
Get message " ews and ecu do not suit each other". Maybe wrong version of EWS?

Tried hook up EWS emulator (cheapest ecutool type) but no success
As I can read from dump the ISN should be A1 0A.
Anyone know if this emu works on EWS 3?

Save version 1 and try to synchronize with gt1, if not try it with version 2..

For me it works every time
Sure that you wrote the right file to eeprom? Did you veryfied the eeprom content after writing.
Read eeprom again and post it here

The cheap emulator does not work in this case, only for EWS2 or EWS3.2. 98? E39 should have EWS 3.3.
