MED17.5.5 TC1766 error

Hi there.

Have a 2012 vw scirocco 1.4tsi 122bhp. The car registration date is 09/2012

Hooked it up in boot mode to my galletto v54 and managed to connect to the ecu but could not read. It told me to unlock through password menu. Disarmed the boot mode and when try unlock through password menu, it tells me "tprot to high. We are working on this"

However on another forum I have read tprot 11 only comes in 1767.
Is this correct? Or is my tricore protection level really is to high to boot mode for this tool?

i do various boot med17/edc17 with tp 11 but i use fg v53 china, R-W-CHK ok for all

Mines a eu clone so what can be going wrong. I also double checked everything. But the most I can get is an identification when pressing connect

I do these with a gen tool, password read on bench.
