Hello!

I need virgin on Xsara Picasso BSI, MCU is NEC uPD780949. Ori dump attached. I read somewhere that you need to put all dump to 00, not to FF. Which is correct? I really don't wanna do this one twice ... it is a real bugger to solder. Thanks!

I tried 00 ... PIN and VIN programmed OK, but I cannot program keys or BSI configuration, so this solution is not OK. Does someone have virgin dump?

not work all "FF" all "00" tested

cannot program keys or BSI configuration

I agree, same problem here. All "00" al "FF" is bullshit on this one ...

Anyway, I copied the EEPROM data from NEC from old BSI to the "new" BSI and it is working ...

... however, that did not resolve my problem. The dashboard randomly comes ON with ignition OFF, with "ABS failure" message and stuff ... I thought the BSI failed, but the replacing it with used one did not solve the problem. Does anyone know what could be wrong here?

YOU NEED PP 2000 TO SULUTION.

On a 207 that i thought was bsi , the problem was at dash. Check carefully connections behind dash.

bsi nec

nevaljajuti resistor in BSI.
it jes where lems wire km.
one resistor should have a 222 ohm ...
These resistors 4u1.jedan to another. That's the problem, surveys well.

The problem is in 4u1 resistors? They are 222 Ohm each?

no, they are 220 ohm each

Yes, (221) >> 22 * 10 = 220 Ohm. Anyway, could these couse the problem to wake the dashboard with ignition OFF?

individually. surveys respectively.

Did you have same problem and this solved it, or is this just a possibility?

Found wiring diagram from car and looked what happen when you bring key in position ON. Yes I change two BCM .

got the same problem after reading nec in bsi.solve it replacing the "221" resistors
