i have s class without original dash board ..
donor dashboard shows ----- for miles. not sync with ezs..
anyway to flash the dash so no more sync to ezs like the c class w203..

i know it can be done with star wondering if there was a way to flash the dash..
car was bought with 2 dashboards..1 connected in car displaying ------but all lights working.
2nd was in the boot that aslo shows ------ but no lighting i can fix lighting issue but need to resolve ----- issue..
having said that i think the 2nd dash which was in the boot is original as when connected memory seats, steering all go to their positions.
and the one it came with connected with all lights working dont..

strange thing in car is that esl has been disconnected somehow,
without key in ignition steering lock is off you can turn steering lock to lock..
when key inserted no esl movement can be heard..
i think this is the issue why the memory seats dash show---- because esl has been tampered with..
anyone shed some light....

so what you are saying there is no electric steering lock on this car, steering can be turned without key inserted..
key is ifra red type not blade..
