Hi All,

Car is the Peugoet 206 1.4L (8v) petrol. ECU is Sagem although the microchip and its location is different from the picture of what I can find in the internet for Sagem S2000. Chip is ST10F273 CCA. The ECU identification, microchip and board layout are in the attached.

Does anyone have any information about reading/writing this ECU? For instance where are the boot pins, if any resistors required etc.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Rgds

206 1.4L ECU's are either S2000-xx or S2000PL4FC5 up to the year.

S2000-xx is with different hw structure. S2000PL4FC5 has ST 10F273 and 95160. Depend on what you want to do, to mod. the sw going to 10F273. But if for immo off or virgin seems eep is enough.

Zmann, thank you so much for the reply. I would like to mod the files; i.e. read and write the ST10F273. Do you have the relevant information regarding the boot pins? where they are and if resistors are necessary etc.

Also the connectors pins are the same as this;http://youyoukiller.free.fr/boot_mode/pin%20PSA/psa%20sagem%202000.jpg

Would the +12v, Gnd and K-line pins in the S2000PL4FC5 be in the same locations?

No, the link photo is for S2000 with Siemens/Infineon c167 MCU + external flash, your ECU has different PCB layout.

What is your programmer, Xprog, FGTech or Piasini, etc? FGTech and Piasini on boot mode use the same technic (K-line) anyway none works on S2000 but that's another matter because S2000 uses different MCU. Xprog will need TX, RX, Reset and boot (P0L4) pins that means you need more opening on the rubber.

To enter boot mode and working with K-line the MCU pin P0L4 must need logic 0 during power on (pin P0L4 to GND). For safety reason use some tens ohm resistor jump the pin to GND, power on the ECU and measure for voltage if no more than 1 volt that should be fine.

For power up and K-line pins seems it's rare to find on the net. I just ontain the same ECU by chance a few days back. If you would wait I'll get something out quickly. If not I would try S2000 pinout.

Brilliant! I have the Piasini and FGtech. So I need to ground pin 104. Do I have to remove (un-ground) after 5 secs? or can I leave it on? And yes I will need to remove more rubber. I can wait for the pin-outs. Maybe meantime I can try the S2000 pinouts.

You've been most helpful. Let's hope it works.

All of my test cases none gives reading error by removing P0L4 after the tool has connected (communicated) to the MCU but most of the cases (not all) with error when doing vise versa. So just remove it.
