I have tryed to Read Golf 7 1600TDI EDC17C64 but it gives error.
Have any idea it is possible to read/write by obd?

The new Golf VII 2.0TDI and Golf VII 1.6TDI have EDC17C64.

CMD Flasher v3.2 can read 2.0TDI edc17c64 but it is the same ecu ??

I have upload photo of the ecu.

When it's not possible, can it in the future?

Are you using genuine Galletto or clone? I just downloaded update for my genuine Galletto and I see edc17c64 is supported... it would not be funny to discover ecu is not supported when a customer will have 300-350km driven for coming.

Check this:

With this "SpiderBOOT" you can unlock this ecu.

After fited inside ecu.

Juste read / write by OBD.

Price of this pcb to fit inside ECU: 90€

CMD have a big advance on other tools...

If CMD needs this stuff, it means they are very late comparing to other tools. EDC17C64 need just a boot-read, tprot-off from flash write and then remap by OBD.

Hi
Teoturo, i think you be confused with CMD.
Spiderboot, is for locked-unlocked ecu, for tool Id, i can blocked ecu for read-write only with one tool cmdflash, etc, etc.
See all info in cmd web.

If the car tuned from me come to tour office you can copy the tuned file.
I can lock unlock the ecu by obd.

For what i could understand the spiderboot is, you tune a customer car, and this customer ask me to read the file and check if everything is okay, i can do it without any problem.

If you use the spiderboot, and if you choose to lock the ID, no one can read it anymore with this device in place, what i don't know is, if you remove the spiderboot, you'll be able to read the ECU again or not.....

Hi:
Special FunctionsProtection of files,SpiderBOOT has a setup menu that allows the tuner to choose between the following options: protection from OBD reading, OBD writing, restricted access to their ID. This allows you to avoid reading or unauthorized reprogramming, including manufactures settings. To ensure total protection you need to seal the unit so that no one can have access to it. This can be done by using NON acetic silicon or potting epossidic resins for electronic use. SpiderBOOT can only be initialized once and can not be re-used for another ecu.SpiderBOOT is currently available for TriCore Infineon, BDM version will soon be available for units equipped with Motorola processors 5xx.SpiderBOOT supports the Master / Slave technology.SpiderBOOT is a registered trademark of Flashtec SASpiderBOOT is PATENTED, protected by International Laws

with cmd you can write directly over obd no need of boot ...
