ps3 conection prob

hi my boy has ps3 and never off cod but the prob is when he online it seems to loose conection on and off any one have this prob and is there a wee fix cheers

It depends if it is the games online servers or the internet connection that is the problem, it is fairly well known that cod4 has times when it is a bit of a lottery if you can get a game and if you do it can still be erratic. Best thing is to try another game online and see if it is ok, failing that you could put the ps3 into a DMZ (de-millitarised zone ) which basically opens all ports on your router to the ps3. Depending on your router it's not that hard to do... just google it or go onto the ps3 forums for advice.
