View Full Version : Ford IDS china Help Needed PLEASE!!!

Dear guys for 2 year i am using my ids in perfect condition.Its chinese fake.with version v73
2 days before i installed v86 .when i connect car suddenly i press update button with wrong selection :(
i installed a clean v73 (which cd comes with device) and tried to use ClearVCMUtil .But no success.
It gives gateway error after 2 minutes.
error is Failed to re-load Gateway software

What i have to do?
Please help :(

yes of course, i changed nand flash and 24c02 and 93lc dump but nothing changed. Please help

depending on how good clone is it can be recovered by flashing to JAG / LR IDS software then back to ford earlier software using the ids software or if you have access to IDS PDS

some VCM1 will not recognize ignition cycle and or K line in extreme cases due to software update
recovered one unit with PDS which wouldn't let key cycle recognition to let tool program keys etc after updating from v74 to v77A (i think due to missing two end termination resistors i think ) update of this unit was impossible from v74 worked fine on this software :joyous:

worth trying the reflash though as at this stage its pretty much useless but be aware of the risk of failure !

don't know if this helps, but the thread might have got thrown in the trash like sevaral threads on here, Drakov did a thread with upload on how to unlock, don't lmow if it helps

i am trying to everything as you can see.There are limited sources about this,and i dony know why digital kaos search engine is so bad.
I have to repair this vcm, i dont have another change.
For thanx all help...
