tqnata83 (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/members/401548-tqnata83/) is totally wrong. I guess he never worked on Astra-H with Op-Com.

Op-Com advanced (original) is capable to read pin from Astra-H
form EDC16C9 only and from DIS (Borg and Delphi) via OBD.

As you recognized ME7.6.x is hybrid. Carprog can read some of them.
It is easy to get the login via eeprom programmer from IPC, DIS or EHU.
So no way for you via OBD. You have to disassemble one of the mentioned devices.

I would stick to the display, dashboard or radio, as they are much easier to remove then the CIM. For CIM you have to remove the steering wheel. Depending on the CIM version you will have eeprom or secured mcu.

yes as exe123 states stick to dash mate and read eprom, really easy and fast to remove, saves all the messing, if you need to change engine ecu dont forget you need the pin for the new one if its a used part or buy reset, or get pin from ecu
