Hi guys this has really baffled me for the past few weeks.
I have a LS210D Version 1.42-0.34
I have lots of downloaded files in the transmission folder but i cant seem to delete them i get the message No authority to write to the specified path.
I have logged in with the admin account and can delete files from any other folder on my NAS .
I ve checked the user right which are all set to read and write and also re initialised the nas drive .
Please guys any suggestions are welcomed

Hi cunny
Ive reset the nas drive several times and checked all the permissions
If you google hard enough there are people with the same problem but no solutions.
Think it maybe a chmod problem
Hope you can help cunny

Ensure there are no services/processes hogging the file. This would lock the file from being modified or deleted

i did have a few permission problems and now have completly restructured my nas drive but the transmission folder is still locked out it seems .
I downloaded a film last night for instance and have deleted it from the downloader but it wont let me delete the file.
after looking around it seems theres a problem with the file settings.json
i'm
looking into this as we speak not sure how you can edit that file

Don't think it's permission issue. I think the files are in use in a program that then locks the file from deleting etc

Try pc in safe mode also. Any bit torrent client needs to be closed also
