Hi all,
Recently I tuned a VW Golf 6 1.4tsi (kompressor+turbo) with MED17.5.5 ecu in bootmode, because Icould not read it by obd (ecu is recently updated by VW dealer).
The car runs perfect, but the strange thing is that when the coolant temperature is a few minutes at 90 degrees C the fan switches on and stays on quite long at full speed. With the original file this did not seem to happen, but I have checked the file a few times and have tuned these cars several times before.
Any ideas / suggestions?

already seen vag med17 with fan on at low water temp after a flash (scirocco 1.4 tfsi saw with my eyes). there's a checksum bug, try another file or another tool for write

this problem is not checksum bug, only bad chiptuning!

this mod below turns on fan, this is not torque limit/flow limit but characteristic conversion voltage sensor in coolant temperature

it was the turbo pressure vs temp map which caused the fan to turn on more often then normal.
Solved!
