07 kawasaki z1000 hard to change mileage ?

Hi all I've been asked to change mileage on a 2007 z1000 kawasaki
i see its a 93c56 chip and I should read it as 16 bit

ive done abit with these chips on toyota ecus
so I'm just wondering if its easy to get dash apart and desolder the chip

is the whole job easy enough to do ?

well I don't want to have to buy a new dash if I stuff it up
I would rather say no and loose 150 dollars

What programmer u using? The chip should be on back of clocks
