hi,
After following the instruction and updating the generated "***.dct" file into my map directory, my TOMTOM (go720) doesn't let me use the map (western europe 830.2305) Any solutions for that?

Requirements: You should have latest meta.txt file which has all latest maps metas.

1-) Open your tomtom drive and look for ttgo.bif , open it and copy your deviceid into "DeviceID.txt" in keygen folder. No space between letters in deviceid.

2-)Copy .meta and .pna files from your map folder into "insert_meta_from_Map_here" folder in keygen folder.

3-)Run "RunMeforDCT.cmd" from keygen folder. Choose option 1 then 1 again and press ok , dialog box will close.

4-)You should now have a .dct extension file in "insert_meta_from_Map_here" in keygen folder. Copy the .dct file into your map folder in tomtom drive.

5-) If your ttsystem is patched you should be able to select the map or if its only single map in tomtom it should automatically start.

I dunno if I have the 'latest' meta.txt file.. I have one, not sure.

1 Got the device ID,

2 copied the .meta and .pna files from my old maps, even tho I have them in the new maps...

I dont understand this insert meta here folder.. not seen this..
or the runmefor dct thing.

You lost me lol , did you managed to do this as above download contains files and folders i have mentioned on my instructions.

For latest meta file which includes all metas upto and including v8.35 maps , download below file and copy it into progs folder in keygen.

I now see this 'insert meta in here' thing... its from the mazza download method at the start of this thread, I was actually trying to follows paddy's tutorial video to put the maps in.

I think I have all the ingredients now, and the two methods of inputting. I will try it when I get out of bed.

In the end I didn't use mazza's download package at the beginning of this thread, I used paddy's tutorial. A great thing. Went smoother than I expected.
I am now running Western and Central Europe 835.2419 2Gb maps
with Navcore 8.412
Not the very latest Navcore but still a vast improvement to what I had before.
Anyone need any help? I am a bloody expert now.

In the end I didn't use mazza's download package at the beginning of this thread, I used paddy's tutorial. A great thing. Went smoother than I expected.
I am now running Western and Central Europe 835.2419 2Gb maps
with Navcore 8.412
Not the very latest Navcore but still a vast improvement to what I had before.
Anyone need any help? I am a bloody expert now.

Yes it will.

Incase it doesnt due to missing metas , there are meta codes inside the downloaded files , add them manually into the meta.txt file in keygen\progs folder.
