ITV4+1 (10906 V) on AJ's latest list is showing as "scrambled" this morning. Strange, as it's a FTA channel???

KOS shows ITV4+1 on 2 transponders, so scanned 10832 H to get it back.

I suspect that KOS may have listed the wrong channel for 10906 V and it should have been ITV4 Plus ( No number 1 ) which was a temporary ITV4 two hour time-shifted channel which ceased to broadcast as from yesterday the 11th May. It launched towards the end of March on a temporary basis at channel number 193 on the official Sky epg. Therefore, the 10832 H must be the correct frequency for ITV4+1.

Looking on Sky's online tv guide, ITV4+1 is listed as channel 206.

That's correct and it is still there. The point I am making is that channel 193 which has recently been removed was ITV4 Plus ( a temporary ITV4 2 hour time shifted channel ) which KOS states incorrectly is ITV4+1 ( notice the difference between the time shift hours and the similar channel name ) and as a result AJ's listing would, through no fault of his own, be incorrect by using the details of KOS.

It looks like sattv5's channel list is still OK, as he used 10832 H.

Yep. Now showing as encrypted. I wonder what the reason is?

I suspect, but I could be wrong, that it is possibly going to be the new ITV Encore channel which is due to launch at the beginning of June. Other forums suggest that the frequency is a " placeholder " until the official launch and that was why it was temporary showing ITV4 Plus ( a +2 hour version of ITV4 ). Perhaps it is now testing ITV Encore before the official launch and the reason it is encrypted is because ( according to the official ITV Press Centre ) it is going to be a PPV channel showing the best of ITV's British Drama.
