Hello - sorry for sounding stupid - I've tried to find the answer to this before asking, but I'm stumped. I've copied the ov2 and ver files to my Tomtom map folder - Tomtom recognises the new speed camera POI categories, but then it doesn't see any POIs within each category. Previous POI categories have used ov2 and bmp files, which work well. After searching the internet, I think these ov2 and ver files might be encrypted POI files - does anyone know if this is true? Or what am I doing wrong? Many thanks for your help.

ok is anyone else having a problem when just copying the 2 files for their country speedcams into the map folder and them not working.if so check that you are not replacing standard with premium cameras or vice versa.this is because they also use a dct file in the map folder.if thats the case you can google for tomtom easytools to generate a new dct file, then copy that into your map folder too and it will work.

post here if still problems and i will send you how to do it and the easytools link

Heres a link on this site for easytools and instructions how to use.You can just use this to generate a new dct file for your speedcameras

Hope this helps all to use the speedcameras
