If its a new key you might be lucky. I asked one of their sales rep and they claim it can program a spare bmw smart key.

I confirm DS708 supports 99 Nissan Maxima, 2004 infiniti G35 all keys lost

Its a very good tool... but BMW smart key programming is not going to happen. Can do dme and cas/ews alignment though
