Hi guys,

Read chip fine - but something amiss ???
ICL and AVDI reports bad/incorrect dump.

What's my options - anyway to switch immo off on Magneti Marelli IAW 59F instead or could somebody fix this dump - thanks guys,

Or point me in right direction, cheers260518

hi guys, haven't got the latest fiat AVDI update with OBD yet.

But car was non-runner anyway so thought worth reading eeprom directly

- pretty sure its corrupt. wonder if virgin dump or immo off on engine an option

Maybe dump is not corrupt but you did a bad reading. What is happening with the car anyway?

I have read it but if the car doesn't start that doesn't mean you should play with bsi. I didn't understand the reason of non-start.

Key symbol on dash with immo fault codes and car would'nt start -eeprom corrupt in BCM.

....Unfortunity i thought it would be a good idea to open the hybrid engine ecu (Magneti Marelli IAW 59F) and half the crappy wires have fallen off so it's an ebay job now lol

AVDI in future or someother device to switch immo off via OBD :)
Anyway, thanks for input guys especially if you gave me links - Steve

PS. Some interesting kit out there - ie Simos PCR2.1 to enable OBD - us locksmiths need that!!

As you once said to me,it would be so easy with genuine AVDI,this time it would be so easy with correct dumps and soldering skills. The one who solely relies on OBD port to do all the jobs, can certanly forget to solve big problems in this business.
Fiat's are a pain to do :D

I got a box full of virgin 59f ecu's, let me know if you need one, then job is easy, just program a known good dump to bsi, make transponder and your done :)

I have had a few of these and corrupt bsi dump was the case on all of them.

You need to read the 93c66 as 16bit or swap bytes of 8 bit

Nope not in this case as I've read others np.

Ninja - Need that ECU as car still won't start :

P0300 - Ign failure
P0351 - Ign coil circuit #1

Could it had been a faulty ECU off ebay ???
Or faulty coils which spiked whole system ???

How much do i owe you for ecu

I think ignition coil pack spiked your ECU.

Anyway, the process with the working ECU is:
1)Reprogram body with valid dump.
2)Use IAW.5xx decoder on ECU,and "make as new".
3)Program keys to body,if possible directly to dump.
4)Connect everything on car.
5)Ignition on for 10 seconds(CEL and Code lamp will go out after 10 seconds),then ignition off.
6)Ignition on again,start the car,do "phonic wheel learning"(rev 3 times to 5 or 6k).
7)Car is ready to go

That should conclude if i remember correctly, almost 2 years ago.
I think this should help you to get that car back on the road.

Hope you solve it,
Sima
