I tried several times, no results ... I get the message - frame error....I have two upa usb, original and clone... the same result
had some experience with this problem...

Have you tried powering board itself with 12v ? Also I remember years ago when doing them manualy sometimes if they wouldn't read it helped to put them back in the car and turn ignition on and start again. It kind of reset them rather than keep trying for ever with no joy.

For upa:
connect gnd and modB, tx , rx and reset, oscylator 8000
connect +12 and gnd by dash cluster
working 100%

I took it with a plate, put in the adapter and so completed job...:)
