There is a 6.5Amp SMD fuse (normally in white color near the little transformer). You need to replace this fuse. That will do the trick. However, all the resistor around transformer has to be re-flowed too. Sometimes you may need to replace IRF3710S Mosfet too. All the problem occurs due to inadequate heat sink for this mosfet.

I repaired few without changing Mosfet but re-flow SMD resistors and with replacement of just a 6.5Amp fuse.

Good luck

I also have this TAC TAC problem and i never sol ed it. I changed fuse, MOSFET,resistors, aluminium capacitors, tantalium capacitors, resolded e everything, also under big display. Tried all dumps found in this forum. I have 3 dashboard with the same problem. All 3 this version : P8200 365607D V.6.01. This si my video :

If you are trying to re-solder everything under big display, may cause you some other parts to fail. You just need to replace the smd fuse, MOSFET ( Buy good mosfet with RDS(on)=23mohm), and re-flow all the smd resistors near transformer.
Once done that re-assemble large LCD display. That's it. In your video, I believe tic tic is caused as you have not re-assembled large LCD display before power up. If your power supply can't handle the current consumed by the cluster, it may fail too. Good power supply with at-least 5A current should work

Hope this helps.

I have repaired about 30 dashboards with success. These 3 dashboard, instead, are driving me crazy.
I tried with and without display, without MOSFET, 2843b and without tantalum capacitors.
watch this video: 00346 - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXoFybef3f8)
I also tried to plug it in the car : red led flashes and I hear turn signal noise but no display.

I noticed that these 3 dashboards have 22uF capacitors tantalum, all other dashboard that I had repaired 6.8uF

Try this dump and report. I personly think this is hardware problem - we will see.

Best regards,

I think it's an hardware problem too. I see datasheet of 2843b and on pin 6 I have to measure 5V. Instead it's 0V !! I don't measure voltages in or out on 2843b.
In these pictures you can see my work :

I think I didn't miss nothing ....
