Hello guys,
I am trying to tune a friends VW Golf 3 GT (100hp) with a 1600cc (AEK) engine.
It has a Bosch motronic 2.9 with VW part number: 037906258AQ and bosch part number 0261203729/730. The chip has a software number 1267358926.
I have to mention that i dont have access to read the software of the eprom
I found the file from a forum and worked with a ABA motronic 2.9 xdf, i changed a few values such as ignition and rpm limit.
I sent him the tuned eprom, he fitted it and the car wont start. (He installed the eprom correctly from the correct sidehttp://cdncache-a.akamaihd.net/items/it/img/arrow-10x10.png (http://www.ecuconnections.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=26135#)).
He mentioned me that the car has immo.
Does anyone knows what i am doing wrong?
Does this ecu needs checksum correction
The immo code is in the chip file?
I would be grateful if you could help me.
Here is the ori file:
