please help motometer BOO cluster out of service !!!

Hello experts,


I have a seat arosa (same as vw lupo car) from 2001. I remove the 24C02 eeprom from the cluster in order to modify it after that I solder this eeprom in the cluster. But now the cluster seems broken. LCD clock and LCD mileage show errors.

I thought I corrupted the eeprom or I blow up the eeprom due to heat, so I decided to inject a new dump into a new 24C02 eeprom but the result is the same.

Please could you help to solve out this issue. I send you attached pictures of this annoying cluster. I spend so much time !!:blue:

Are you sure you have reconnected the LCD display properly back to the board?

Very very hard to overheat eeprom.
Send dump we can look in.

the problem has been solved out :joyous:

The eeprom was not soldered correctly on the PCB. Actually, the data pineout was not soldered. Everything is alright now :smile:
