If you extract and click on the attached file your Windows XP Service Pack 3 installation will receive Microsoft Security Updates until 2019
Its a simple registry addition which allows Windows XP SP3 to continue to receive updates as the operating system will appear to be an Instalation of Windows Embedded POSReady, which will continue to receive updates until 2019
Maybe a good idea to back up your registry and any important files before you add the entry, but I have used this on a number of PC's without problems.261380
