Bmw e46 mileage

Can someone help me I am read dash m35080 with carprog and write when I connect to car new mileage is ok, but I am remove dash for adjust needles and when I connect again dash on dash is 999999 then code, and nothing work, when I write old dump all is ok, I am not touch ews, please if someone know where is problem please tell me old mileage is 320k and I am put 120. Maybe big diferrence between ews and dash, thanks.

Everything was OK. I had on display 122K, but the pointers I didnt set on 0, fuel was on 1/4, km/k was 10 etc... When I disconected, make pointers all on 0, and connect again, I had CODE on display, what happened?

check eprom soldering first!

you don't need to disassemble needles on e46 dashboard,there is soldering points in back of dash. download m35080 programmer software for pictures.

Solved, I am solder again eeprom, and now everything is ok, I am don't know what is problem be.

Don't think so because I am write new mileage and it is be all ok, dash in car be almost 2 hours car runs, but needles is not be in right postion, then I am remove dash again and set needles in right position, I am not touch eeprom, when I set needles and put dash again, dash have sound beep beep and on screen code, that is what I am not belive the problem is solder because it is working always when put old mileage, when put new always have problem.
