I require a front drivers seat belt for a 07 seat leon 1.9 tdi. The seatbelt has been deployed. Part number 1p0857706a, I cannot find any seatbelts for this car from scrapyards or on ebay. There are many vw golf mk5 drivers seat belts available. Can anyone confirm if it would work?

The seat belt is inertial operation on every car in the world, according to the Chinese gunpowder is ignited with a large spark.

Will a mk5 golf driver seat belt clear the fault? Or will I also need to have it hard resetted with vagcom or something similar?

The seat belt does not erase faults only keeps the car's occupants in place to know who was at fault

So basically I can just get another airbag and this will clear the fault after reset? Only my driver airbag went off.
