Got a non starting Ford focus here with no main event on the injector scope trace.
Anyone know what causes no main injection event?
Pre injection phase is present.
Thanks

Fuel pressure? Check at rail pressure sensor 5v and 0.5v or live data should point you in the right direction.

Pressure 26,000 KPA to 34,000 KPA on cranking (275-300)
New IMV
No fault codes.
Pressure 150,000KPA when IMV disconnected.
Really just wanted to know whether its ecu Related or pressure related when no main firing event.
Pre firing is fine at at nearly 17amps.
The trace looks like its decelerating.
Thanks

Its a little hard to tell whats going on with your capture as its missing alot of the data (picogap as they call it). Can you take another capture? lose the trigger, extend the timebase and set the sample rate high so there is a few events on the same screen.
I think that the current looks a little low as there is no initial peak and hold (zigzag where its turned on and off)
last screen almost looks ok but injection time is short like it has very high rail pressure.
First screen is dumping rail pressure into the leakoff.

Thanks Smokey.
Will get another capture asap.
Do you think the MDP could be too low?
I know the Throttle has no response on these til they reach 700 or 750 rpm

First check the engine timing then mark all 4 injectors then remove all and have them checked by injector’s experts some they need unlocking.
