Hi,
I can not read ECU EDC16C3 MeganeII 1.9 Dci with bdm100.
I connect the ECU to bdm100. and open CMD 1255:

Ver. 3.1.0.1255 Dongle ID: 192 Date: 09/06/2014 21:35:58 PM
Firmware Revision V.01 SN: 0258
Mpc5xx family x00020020
Part Num: Mpc555/6 x00000030
EPEE Status: 1

and I click 12v "on". Warning: Unknown ECU family, Please select a default ECU family.
the software includes dim 555pro but also not works.
i checked BDM connection to the ECU is ok.

the pinout and connection to BDM is correct.

I test connecting the ecu pin out to galleto.
is detected by the galleto:

I have read the code of injectors
but not read file
the wrong ecu
having bootmode?

I think Babos is right and you should update/reflash your bdm interface.

Like update/reflash your bdm interface?
in the case of problem than BDM and I update, the interface is lost?

Car starts?

If the unit is opened up to work, and now will not start - you have damaged unit when removing or opening and trying to read.
And on bootmode, this control unit does not have this capability. I believe that either the control unit only supports recording via OBD. Full read - write only in Bdm.

and tell me - the power control unit served with the BDM interface? or separately?

this unit is for testing.
I can not start because I not have a car immo off
if the unit is damaged, because is detects galleto for pinout and read injectors code (the file does not leave me read it)
Thanks.

Read this.

it says - when working with Bosch control units, power to the ECU not be need. 12 volt BDM plug automatically. at the moment when you press "connect". If power is applied not only to the programmer, but also to the control unit - you will see on the best outcome-that you saw on the screen. In the worst case - damage control unit.

then try without connecting the BDM to 12v
Should update / reflash your bdm interface??? like Morgano said

BDM must always be connected to the mains. But Bosch control unit must be connected only to the BDM.

a few words about the update. I fasten the archive for you (password send personal communication). In this archive you will find the installer, medicine, and the program to update the serial number of your BDM. You use it at your own risk. I can not exactly tell from the photo above, how do you have hardware version.
Make backup your BDM ftdi eprom, before update.

I wish you successful work.

If the flash content is corrupted bdm does not know which ecu it is and then you need to select it manually.
You will then need a good bdm file, write it by manually selecting the ecu type and after the writing the ecu type should automatically be recognised again.
