new V40 info only

I had a V40 2013 today, tried the new smok option, works 100% no errors and km did not jumped back.

If you drive 3-4km after changing km then re do mileage by putting in same km again then km won't change but it will lock the dash so the km does not jump back

Yes but this thread started talking about Smok but also went on to talk about x horse and DP3 so was just clarifying which tool this method was for as I don't have Smok.

For the other tool users is say after changing km drive 4km and redo mileage correction with same value I.e u chabge to 50000km then re enter 50000km it should lock dash

question to smok owners, does it change mileage in CEM also?
there was info on their website that it change also in BCM (which should be CEM in volvo), but after speaking with them they said it does not change CEM, and removed that info from website.

Can volvo dealer read km from other modules with their diagnostic equipment?

Yes of course it does, it jumps back otherwise. The reason it jumps back is because there is a new mileage inside the DDM and PDM. It can be done using Smok JTAG V850 NEC option + Volvo dashboard option on UDHS. It has been tested by a few of my customers and worked successfully on even the latest models.
