tacho universal NEC board problems !! is there a fix ?

hi guys

first time im trying this clone NEC board

but as soon as i plug the board into the TU (no wires attached)
the TU powers off as if something is shorting ?!?!?

does anyone know what the fix is for this

cheap ass chinese clone shyte lol

so far ive took all 3 HC541 chips off still trips the TU
just took atmel off will try that next

ok no atmel the board stays powered up

any ideas on how to fix this and can i program this atmel cos id bet there is some code on this

A new stand alone NEC programmer costs between ?25-30 including shipping. Is it worth trying to repair a Tacho Universal board? Personally I value my time at far more than the cost of a new programmer. Arthur.

Try in orginal upa programmer it is safe i am using orginal upa programmer u can save the data with upa if u do with tacho universel programmer some times it is short the meter then u can start the veicle so better safe to use upa orginal programmer
