Hi, m8s!
I have strange problem with this auto.
After switching the ignition the warning "ABS faulty. Visit workshop" and the lamp with drunken car starts to light. I have checked everything in this car: ABS sensors are working, ABS ECU gets all 12V and grounds, two wires to dash are OK, I have opened ABS ECU - everything is OK inside, read EEPROM in the dash - seems to be OK. There are no fault codes in ABS ECU, dash or BSI. When driving ABS is working. So now I am in the corner...
May be somebody has any suggestion what to do the next?
ABS system is ABR5.3 without ESP.
Thanks!

Had Same problem last year and i solved it by replacing dash.
Bad contact in the dash connector.
I took dash from yunkyard write low milleage in dash and all ok.

I also made a decision that the problem is in dash. I resoldered all suspicious places in dash, but nothing changed. So I ordered the dash from junkyard. After I'll check I will inform how it's going on.

I've had a similar problem and it was a fuse. Check them also :)

With burned fuse you should have dtc,
