hello just starting to get into this and said id start off with something cheap to get the hang of it . i have a technomate 5200d and have downloaded the phantom patch and "softcam all" files stuck them on the box with no probs but still cant view any scrambled channels it was the latest softcam 6/2/14 i think anyone any ideas?

That would depend on what satellite and channels you are intending to view, The softcam generally works for the following satellites 39? east, 26? east, 23.5? east, 19.2? east, 16.0? east, 13? east, 7? east, 4.8? east etc...

Not all channels are available on all receivers, newer models such as the TM F3/5 and the 5402HD M3 work with all

the 5200d should work with 39east,23.5east,19.2east,16east,13east and 4.8east. theres also quite a few channels using b*** keys also. the latest patch and softcam are here for you, make sure you use the correct file for your box. if it says M2 use the M2 file. ive done a mini list for you to give you a idea of softcam/rom channels.regards mdt

Patch 159 does NOT clear 39e, I find the best Patch to use is 156.

Thanks a mil lads ill get back at it over the next couple of days and let u know how i get on maybe i put the wrong softcam or patch on ive been tryin to watch 19.2 and 23.5
