I mean if I can put regular transponder instead the smart key that goes into the slot

You can put regular transponder but it should be correct type. Correct type is in emergency key for A4/A5/Q5

You can buy orginal emergency key with transponder and learn it. I dont know how it looks already but when i try find alone hitag3 for bmw it was immposible.

Transponder is PCF7939,not Hitag3.Hitag3 is type,transponder model is PCF7939...

Yes hitag3 is type, and standalone hitag3 type i know only pcf7939. When i remember correct emergency key was available on keyprogtools.com site. When you search cheaper solution you can try to buy used key and send it to usa for unlocking.

I do not think is possible.....how you would start the vehicle? there is nothing to turn.....unless you just need for remote start?

when you program these keys, you will cycle in ignition - in out, in out etc.....i do not know how you make it "in", maybe remove electronic
from old remote and insert transponder?

this is an odd request - do you care to share why you need it?

It possible to put transponder in empty case? For a spare key it can be good solution , if it possible . But still need to put it on pcb board because is a EEPROM type and not transponder

There is key slot and with it make you ignition on and starter, similar like in passat b6 but pcf7945 is hitag2 not correct for this vehicle.

This key from audi is not hitag-3. Its hitag-2 but use 128 bit cryptokey.

Hitag-2 can be 48, 96, 128 bit, no one used key lenght longer 48 bit , only audi.
