hi
today i try turn off dpf on ford focus 1.6, 2009, edc16c34. i read file, turn off dpf wgit volta, an try write back file. everuthing see ok, but writing stop on 85%. after i saw, that file created whit vilta have size 1,73M not 2M (85%). I try write back origo file but it stop in 85% too, remake file whit volta, try write but same stop on 85%.
I try write whit gal2. Is it possible write it trough obd or i can repair it only trough bdm?

this file is ori, with addition switch dpfoff 1 bit is modified (183F84)

this car is different of old focus...
ecu with flash spansion and not use cerinium for regeneration
only bdm for R/W
with obd possible corrupt e2p ecu, or delete vin ecu abs (already happened)

File was original with just dpf switch turned off. Maybe car has another problem. Check for broken pipes or air leakage.

Sorry, don't know, can't give you good answer. Let's wait for some mate more experienced with IDS to answer if this can be solved by recode.

recode with IDS ... then read with bdm, disable dpf and write back trough bdm

will be fine, i had similar problem with focus c-max

ps: how was boost pressure before damaging ecu ... i may have answer to your boost problem

Check that you have no broken pipe, and turbo blow exits over there not reaching the mainfold and map sensor. Or maybe the map sensor itself is full of oil or defective and doens't measure correctly. Check that.

the only way i think is to get full bdm dump with same sw no. and initialize ecu back to car.then do good map for dpf off.
