Your J-Link will read TMS470 as it is. Search radio forum for "TMS470 Segger" and all the info to connect J-Link to radio is there. First of all you need to "open project" and select a sample TMS470 project. This is because you cannot connect to a TMS470 without a good init string and the supplied project files have the correct init string already there.
To use latest software from Segger it is better to use firmware with a modified serial number and also change the features string. I can help you with that later. It will be better to connect to radio first so you can get a feel for how it all works.
