hello.I change dash in golf 5 year 2008.old dash burn but i read eeprom.I need pin from old dash for new second hand dash.please help.car start no immo but display in dash error.

If NEW cluster show you ERROR , look like eeprom is corrupted.
if you have Immo OFF in ECU , different cluster will show SAFE when is not adapt,.

Also cluster after 2007 (since 1K0 920 873 -up) are not longer adapt via SCK

yes old dash error.second hand safe.any solution for second hand dash adjust to the car.

you can try this first adapt key to cluster (without ecu plugged in )then safe will be gone ..plug ecu in ,put key on wait 10-15 min ,login to ecu......go to adap ,channel 50 put new /used cluster/immo pin if the vin shows then you have succeeded .

If you do not have OBD tool you need to read both clusters Micronas flash + eeprom with X-Prog to be able to do this.
If you do this , post files here.
Reading only eeprom will not help you. Also VCDS can not do this job. You need much better tool and they start form 1200 euros.
