Cloning volvo s40 ecu?

Hello all!
I have a 2004 volvo s40 2.5t
Someone has tried to "repair" ecu before and destroyed it!
I was going to buy used ecu and swap data over. Has anyone done this before?
It has 95080, D43100AG and the main mcu is a MPC562MZP56.
Does anyone know if any specific vehicle data is stored in the main mcu???

Hey Madman47, im in this same situation. were you able to start the car with just eeprom swap? Any help will be appreciated!
