Hi everyone.. i would be very grateful if someone could send me a PM how to add the softcam keys file to usr/keys. I am not that experienced and although i've managed to get quite a lot done reading up on here i've just struggled to find an easy guide on what i should be doing. The channels i'm looking for are the Digea TV package on 3.1e. I should say that i've installed ******** 1.38. It really would be very helpful if anyone was able to help me. Thanks..

Hi satlover276,

Find below latest softcam keys for Linux E2 receiver.

Extract from zip file and then connect to your receiver either with DCC or VUCC and navigate to folder /usr and then to folder /keys and replace files inside there with the files extracted from the softcam folder

Restart the Cam and your good to Go.

Many Thanks to @informed? for the Keys

Hi digicon, i've done as you advised.. downloaded the file, 'extract here' which leaves me with a yellow file/folder and i've placed that into the usr/keys folder but then absolutely nothing. I've changed the from 1.38 to 1.35 just in case but still nothing opens.. for such a simple procedure i'm just finding it a struggle assuming what i'm doing is right.

dont place the File/Folder into /usr/keys you transfer over what is inside the File/folder into /usr/keys

i've tried that digicon and although i'm getting 'emu' on the infor bar above the current programme of the channel nothing opens. If i go into the softcam setup/restart i can see the details of the channel displayed: system: BISS, caid, pid. prov, cw0, cw1, signature: ok, source: emu and the date/time.

Really confused whaere i've gone wrrong. I added the files in with the others that were inside the keys folder, the files already there were the following: ignore.list, ignore.list example, mg_cfg, mg_example, newcam.list example, peer.cfg,peer.cfg example, priority.list, priority.list example, replace.list, replace.list example. Do i have to remove any of these files before i add the new ones over?

The new file should overwrite the old files ( & ask you if you want to do this)( just click yes)

May be add more cam's to the box
to open the channels

I have 1.38 - C*m 2.14 - Sc*m360 & Osc*m most channels open

*=A
Hope this help's

Sorry i cannot link these it's against the rules but they are easy to find

i've loaded mgcamd 1.35 and after following the instructions above i still haven't succeeded in getting any of the channels to open. I'm wondering whether the keys added are the correct ones for the 3.1e satellite channels.. it's all very frustrating.

Keys are 100% working on 1.38 have you tried a rescan on 3.1? east as with the new satellite Eutelsat 3B just gone up the Greek channels are now higher up the frequency range try scanning these:

12519 V 13960 3/5
12537 V 13960 3/5
12548 H 13960 3/5
12568 H 13960 3/5
