BMW 335i gearbox issue

I need some advice on 2007 BMW 335 auto transmission. We replaced transmission on 335i with second hand transmission Vehicle starts perfect! Try to shift into reverse and engine stalls. Accepts no gears. Did egs coding. now vehicle accepts neutral and park. Still cuts off in drive or reverse. Any ideas what could be wrong ?

When the engine stalls doe's it shudder ( poss lock clutch pulsed on and off )

Would fir testing unplug gearbox ecu, shirt starter out, select reverse thrust or drive, pitot mechanical

not going to go against you. But you can kill ecu by unplugging with ignition on.

certain abs game over if you do, so safer to unplug then start, some cars would start with ecu unplugged
