Can anyone disable fault code DF1070 on Renault Scenic II, 1.9 dCi 120 HP, my 2004?

This is known software problem - the ECU throws code DF1070 cold loop fault (or something like that) and the air conditioning stops to work, although it does not have any defects (checked by myself). Clear the code and - presto!, A/C is working again.

Also, I believe the DF1070 fault code does not have OBD Pxxx alternative code, so ... is there any option to remove it? Thanks!

You have error in Compressor, very common also in wiring nearby. when too much load ( Ecu calculate it)is detected , error is shown and Ecu disable the ac.
You only need Clip and a bit of time to check and solve problem.
Deactivate dtc is not professional

dtc df1070 to solve your problem
1)reprogramming the injection computer with Renault Clip + cd reprog
2)power plug of the compressor to replace
3)see if the compressor is not seized up
4)if you have an insufficient gas pressure prevents starting the compressor.

Compressor and wiring have been checked several times. Everything OK. Also new pressure sensor installed, but the fault just keeps coming back every few weeks.

try to scan this car and get obd code P0???.you can get this code if you scan the car with launchx431 by obd generic, not by manufacture.or some other scaner that can scan generic codes.i think clip can do that too.

Then tell me why OBD-II scanners don't find this fault code at all. Only Renault Clip shows it.
