hi

after bad obd flash,i dessolder reflash 29f800 but car don't start and fan is On..

a friend say me problem e2prom..problem is in 5P08?

someone know this problem and how to repair it?

remove fan fuse

and do do read ecu after that write file i iuse this on galletto

If you can connect it with vcds and have cheksum error on 01 engine then yes you have corrupted eeprom. If you cannot connect then you have bad flash try to rewrite it in boot

it is worked for me 3 times

when i trayed to write without doing red ecu it is fails

when i did red ecu and write ecu it done

the same ecu i have me 7.1

you need to repair the eeprom ive had this and used a virgin eep and recoded back to car

just look and original file is good so it's eeprom for sure..

not only e2p can do your mistake, also mpc can loose data via boot mode or obd, if your problem is on mpc you can only buy another ecu with same HW and SW and try to exchange e2p.

If mcu is faulty he couldn't connect ti vcds for sure. This have sort of death code in it.

I remember when i flashed my first R32. USing MPPS. it wrote..ok and car did not start...tried bench flashing, boot mode eerything.
Finally i i rewrote ori file slecting Proche chayenne...wrote in 5 secs..did a checksum verification and worked!
dunno why i was a noob back then.

damnniitt...i am curious why OBD flashes affect eeprom, it happens even on edc17,,problem is no eeprom checksum unless we have original winols

I work with this ECUs a lot. I never flash ME7.1 or 7.1.1 (VW VR6) via OBD. It does not work.

Hi i am facing same problem after write by obd, drive car switch off, will not start again, Checksum error.

I have boot mode reads of mpc e2p & flash with Ktag protocol 50 Vag 7.1.1 HW 1

But cannot write anything to flash so i need to fix eeprom but what needs to be changed?

Eeprom attached any help much appreciated.
