hello

i want to remap my 320d year 2004 euro 4 with fgtech galleto clone
i have succesfully read the ecu map, the ecu is ecd16c31
268834

is a risk to write the map with this tool?
i don`t want to damage the ecu because i don`t have a BDM dump backup and BDM tool wright now

many thanks

yes but i don`t have BDM adapter

i have read OK from OBD and i hope to write OK throught OBD

the question is:
-if i will fail to write map via OBD and after that i will buy a BDM adapter and i will write the same file with BDM will work?or i need a full BDM backup?
(my dump that i have readed via OBD is the complete dump of the flash?)

You will need the full bdm file.

That's only scariing other, friend just relax, if is that your own car, if it be some fail or something, park the car on the side, buy bdm and easy repair, why is there a lot of panic for just writing one file which is sucesfful, cheap MPPS work this, why you think that fgtech2 can't.

We tell him that this go ok, but know is his choice what to do, I tell him for me and all of us fgtech2 is better tool than MPPS, and I do this ecu with MPPS with obd with no problem.

It doesn't look good if it can't get the ID correctly.
