2000 s500 w220.175 never seen a problem like this before.....please chime in

just some background info...the left esa was on the right side and the right side esa was on the left side....i switched the modules around.... now left is left and right is right. actuation with xentry moves the seat as it's suppose to when connected to the left or right esa(electronic seat adjustment).....problem i'm having now is when trying to control the seats from the switch...the left door seat switch moves the right seat and right door seat switch moves the left side.... anyone had any issues like this before? or any idea where to even go start looking for the problem?

start with the wiring. maybe your switch connectors were switched, left to right, and vice versa. actuation with you controlling the seats via xentry, moves the seat motors directly, bypassing the seat switches. so probably the seat controllers are controlling in the right way, but they are connected to wrong seats. hope it helps :)
