Advise and help please

Hi guys , bought a dimsport new genius machine , plugged it into a 2010 renault kangoo 15 dci 8 valve and read the ecu , sent the file away to be modified for economy/performance and the guy sent a mail message back asking if it was a slave or master system , i replied it was a slave and he replied that only the master can read these files, was disappointed that it couldn't be done and after being told my focus is tricore and cannot be done also unless the ecu is opened , am now feeling maybe ive wasted my money . Is there a list anywhere that can tell me what cars/age i could read and buy files for anywhere

if you buy slave tool you can use only files from seller!!!
Master tool is expencive but you can use all files!(he is not crypted)

u could have bought a master free tool for taht money even less. and have the freedon to chose your file provider.
Just because someone sells a tool, master or salve..doesnt mean he knows how to make good files.
