anyone know how to adapt used unit?
and the key wont turn to on after raplacing the unit
please advise

i mean the steering lock element - not the ignition switch

You need Login Code
After, use VCDS
01-Engine -> Security Access , write Login Code
-> 10-Adaption , Channel 51 or search right Channel for ELV , write Login Code and Save !

try with avdi but for communication with ezs you need working key or cs from new unit.
i would read 9s12

why i need comm with ezs? i can pull pin from ecu with avdi no?

Report - pull pin ok from ezs with avdi but pin doesn't accept in ecu, avdi fails to read Simos ecu( ecu get lock every time after security access attempted ) adaption from diag season not accepted

any vw expert here can explain how the pin from kessy and also from dash not accept in ecu???
