starview 1 update firmware help please

I have a few freinds and family with starview 1 boxes and ive been manually punching codes in for them for weeks but 2 have completely went off when i goto auto scan if freezez half way through so the wont scan at all.

Is there new firmware that i can flash the boxes with i know there not worth a toss but better then binning them any help please anyone got a starview 1 box
