golf mk6 edc17cp14 immo + DTC p0513

Hi had to replace water damaged ecu, golf 2tdi
had a friend make immo, tp off etc, now to start off with great car starts, but 2 faults, 2 x dtc i had, P160A checksum error and p0513 incorrect imobilizer key.
we managed to finally clear checksum error, now we have just key error,
i have full read from old ecu inc eeprom and need help to make car dtc error free, will just getting key coded back to car be enough ? or can someone edit for me ? willing to pay,,, thanks

yes posting now
1st is original ecu water - damaged (micro, eeprom, full read k-tag)
2nd is new ecu matching hw sw to old (micro, eeprom, full read k-tag)
3rd is mod file with immo off, which always gives dtc, key immobilizer etc,,,

just to be clear, i programmed micro as instructed, never touched eeprom, hoping maybe something we missed , so all reads, need this golf dtc free,,,,

2nd new read from donor ecu, matching hw and sw, (new ecu rar)
3rd mod file with immo (immo off rar)

is it worth me writing original eeprom area ? to new ecu, ?
any ideas , comments to fix from gurus welcome, in theory im told should be working just by writing micro, but not the case

i havent tried your file yet, but yes has safe on dash, and glow plug lights flash etc,, was told immo off same solution by all on edc17, did you remake immo or just delete dtc ?

i removed P0513,after you upload my file,glow plug will go away,but safe im not sure if will go out.if its cause by dtc P0513 it will go out.

i removed P0513,after you upload my file,glow plug will go away,but safe im not sure if will go out.if its cause by dtc P0513 it will go out.
But i think safe has nothing to do with P0513.

If you have SAFE in dash that means key is not match to dash . With immo off SAFE WILL never go off until you program keys . Once you program keys Faulty code will go off form ECU .

exactly as i thought, well find out saturday, have plan a, B and C (Ecu tuners) and assured by him bad immo, and says he sees this problem all time with bad immo on flash, and solution is eeprom,,

no mate saturday i test, have 3 files to try,,,, i think answer is in eeprom, ecu tuners has sorted correct procedure,, i hope !! as apparently flash immo not the way but common procedure, but will test yours and other 2 files, will update Saturday with results....

this is what i wounder.if ecu will not store dtc, if clock will pick up no dtc in ecu, maybe safe will fu...off.but i think not.please test my file:)

others same result still safe, but thanks anyway,

Danny at ecu tuners is the only one guy that knows what to do. If I do not have solution my self I use only him.
I am glad that you sorted out.

tango programmer can play with vag tricore eeprom immobilizer.
also avdi with AN054 can play with edc17 eeprom can do:
Full access to the memory through boot-mode (CAN bus).
Immo bilizer bypass for engine control units EDC17/MED17 through boot-mode.
Recalibration of control unit mileage–EDC17/MED17 through boot-mode.
Transfer PIN/CS/MAC from one EDC17/MED17 to another. Fix the checksums in EDC17/MED17 flash.
EDC17/MED17 read/write flash/EEPROM also when locked with TPROT V08 for newer Engine control units (e.g. 2012+).
EDC17/MED17 immobilizer bypass by Flash dump – For Engine control units 2012+ for the ones where it is not possible to make
immobilizer bypass from the EEPROM dump.
