Hi m8's,

I got a BMW X5 2006 made in August came with EWS4.3.
It came with a 2L86D 9s12 chip.
I found a the picture of the wiring diagram that matches the 6 wire ribbon came with my AK90+.
Is it 100% safe to read it in-circuit using AK90+?

Please give me advice.

Thanks.

just be carefull , there was some problem with the picture and colours were different according to the numbers if I recall, I think you must work from number 1 from left to right on ribbon and not the picture colours, worth looking at before you press the read button:joyous: (javascript:void(0))

I have ordered a EWS4 In-Circuit Jig which should work on AK90 also.
Can anybody confirm that with the correct solder point on this jig Ak90+ will work 100% without damage the 2L86D 9s12 chip?

Do you perhaps have the numbers that correspond with each of the colours? My cable has different colours so I don't want to get mixed up and perhaps cause damage to the EWS
